10 Jan What do Elvis, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, and Jason Fried have in Common?

After this year’s INDUSTRY: The Product Conference takes place — some of the legendary icons in music like Elvis, The Beatles, Duke Ellington, Jimi Hendrix and others will have one thing in common with world class product management leaders like Jason Fried, Bob Moesta, Cindy Alvarez, Dan Olsen, and more.

They will have all graced the same stage at the historic Cleveland Public Auditorium.

Opened in 1922, the neoclassical performing arts hall has recently become the home to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s Induction Ceremonies — and will now also be home to INDUSTRY 2017.  This new home for INDUSTRY is located in the heart of Downtown Cleveland, just steps away from attractions such as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Cleveland’s professional sports teams, East 4th Street and Warehouse District neighborhoods.

Of course, while we’ve always been proud that Cleveland is our home, we know that people won’t just be coming for the food and craft beer revival that’s taken place, or the entertainment options that are plenty.  They’ll be coming to meet and hear from some of the best product minds today.  At INDUSTRY 2017, they’ll get just two full days of just that (and more, if they attend the Working Sessions!), as our lineup already includes:

  • Jason Fried, CEO of Basecamp
  • Pete Koomen, Co-Founder and CTO of Optimizely
  • Bob Moesta, CEO of the ReWired Group and Co-Architect of the Jobs to be Done framework
  • Dan Olsen, Product Management consultant and Author of The Lean Product Playbook
  • Cindy Alvarez, Head of UX at Yammer and Author of Lean Customer Development

And we’re just getting started! We’re set to announce more speakers in the coming weeks, with a big announcement just a few days away.
